European Elections: In May 2019, European citizens will elect the new Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and a new team of Commissioners will take office in autumn. With the future of the health portfolio in the EU to be determined, the CED continues to advocate for a strong role of the EU in healthcare. The CED has published its own election manifesto with three main requests:
The CED is looking forward to the May 2019 General Meeting that will take delegates to Vienna, Austria, to continue discussions on the priorities of the dental profession in the EU. After the meeting on 24-25 May, the delegates will meet for a second time on 22 November in Brussels.
